Sheena Easton - Sugar walls I was never a big fan of this track until I heard the extended version.
I would post the video in here but I dont want people freakin
Prince has the drum machine working like a slave on this cut, I love the guitar thrown into the mix as well.
Is there an Instrumental 4 this song?
You're so glam, every time I see you I wanna slam!

I don't believe there is an instrumental.
I agree, the extended version is , it's white hot with the 83/84 era Prince sound.

Oh my goodness this is the sexiest song I have ever heard. What's so funny about it is I was very young (tender age) and I didn't know what sugar walls were but I was singing it. I didn't find out what it was until I was a very late teenager. Yes my parents kept me inside, lol.

I too was young with this song came out, and I too never knew what it meant until YEARS later. I always loved the song, though. "Come spend the night inside my sugar walls."

OMG!! I loved the heck out of this song. This was sooo uncle Prince. Clever lyrics, great track, and the vocal talents of Sheena make this song really stand out. “When I give food to the poor, they call me a saint. When I ask why the poor have no food, they call me a Communist.” Brazilian bishop Dom Hélder Câmara

There's a "Red Mix" which is kind of between the album and the extended version in terms of content, and that's pretty much it. An instrumental woulda been fabulous but there's no such thing circulating.
I aactually discovered the long version BEFORE the album one, so this killer-track has always been amongst my faves ever. It's just as good as anything on 1999 and Purple Rain IMO. A COMPREHENSIVE PRINCE DISCOGRAPHY (work in progress ^^): https://sites.google.com/...scography/
