Wendy & Lisa's Official Girl Bros Radio Station

Girl Bros. RadioWendy & Lisa were doing shows for a while on LuxuriaMusic.com, but they've been absent from there for a while.

Now the Girl Bros. are back with their own station!

They've now partnered up with Live365.com (my old haunt for the first two seasons of The Ernest Experience Radio Show) to broadcast 24 hours a day. They are still testing a few things, but I can tell you one of the items in their play list is the Rolling Stones gig story from the Dirty Mind tour, with the chicken tossin', and the runnin' away. It's as it was aired on LuxuriaMusic last year, with interviews from Bobby, Matt, and Dez, each telling their own version of the story, and Lisa mixing it all together quite wonderfully.

Their station is very eclectic, but not in the "WTF?" kind of way. I'm a bit of a music snob, but so far today, I've not wanted to skip a song. Renata is doing a wonderful job at getting stuff together for this station.

Lisa's MusicLab, as well as DJ Wendy's shows, will be airing again with new live shows.

(Right now, they're playing stuff from Eroica. They've played a lot of different artists, it's not just W&L stuff on there.)

Um.....PS "Controversy" is playing right now.

My friend Mona first heard this song in the 90's on The Hits, when I was playing the CDs in her car. Her 4 and 5 year old children were in the back seat. She said, "Do you think this song is appropriate for the kids?"

I said, "Why?"

She innocently said, "Country Pussy?"

She's not lived it down to this day.

Prince may be the purple Yoda, but Wendy & Lisa and Eric Leeds also sit on the Jedi Council.

Don't know why, that's the link that comes up with the thread that Afro75 posted called "Girl Bros Radio's New Home" posted on June 22 2010. Either way, it's been posted already but thanks for the reminder.

Renata decided to add a Facebook page, after I suggested it to her. She didn't want to dilute the information out there, but I told her folks seem to be blind to actually checking a real website outside of Facebook (not everyone, but you know what I mean). I mentioned it'd be a tool to point people to the W&L site in general.

So now, the GB network has a page on FB that you can LIKE at will.
