Jesse Johnson & Morris Days old side projects...

Does anybody remember Da Krash or the Day Z's? Da Krash was Jesse's side project and the Day Z's was Morris's girl group...

Holy shit! I was at a friends house on Friday and another friend requested that he dig up Da Krash album. My friend has a HUGE record collection in storage, but he was amazingly able to locate the record and a 12 inch single for the group.

I had never heard of this project until Friday shake

da Krash was amazing, I love the whole album. And "Blueberry Gossip" was my JAM from TaMara.
Prince may be the purple Yoda, but Wendy & Lisa and Eric Leeds also sit on the Jedi Council.

The name of the song was, "Wasn't I Good to 'Ya?". I remember that fly-ass girl in the video. I also have the actual cassette, which I bought for two bucks - it was in a bargain bin. I always thought their lead guitarist resembled Randy Jackson...

He could play his ass off, though.

Hey BlaqueKnight, please school our fellow orgers on the guitar talents of Eric Gales. His website at MCA hasn't been updated in eons, save for the occasional posts by his wife. Supposedly he's working on some new material and playing gigs in Memphis. I saw him in NYC two years ago - the place was only half-full - it should've been packed. He played some serious GEETAR!!! The brotha is bad. I remember his two appearances on Arsenio's show - he's a bad mutha...

BTW - "Easy Come, Easy Go" from Da Krash was a cool tune...
