Jesse Johnson Produced/Remixed: ANDY "Les Rita Mitsouko"...Anyone heard it? .oOo.
I was flipping through my 45 collection and found a single for a song called "Les Rita Mitsouko" by and artist named simply Andy. It credits Jesse Johnson as an additional Producer and has information on the song as a "Vocal/Jesse Johnson Remix" and "Additional Production by Jesse Johnson for J.W.J. Productions, on Virgin Records 1987. So now, since I don't have a record player...has anyoned ever heard it? Anyone know about this artist and song? Could it have been a Jesse protogé like Da Krash (remember them)?! .oOo. [This message was edited Thu Jun 12 19:52:07 PDT 2003 by FlyingCloudPassenger]

O.K., this is just from memory because the LP is in the basement.
Jesse Johnson produced 2 or 3 tracks on Marc & Robert, a Les Rita Mitsouko album from the end of the 80'ies. During that time, Les Rita Mitsouko received some airplay on MTV Europe and had a 2 or 3 hit singles. I guess "Singing In The Shower" (the biggest hit single) was produced by Jesse. Another connection: Jean Baptiste Mondino (best known to Prince fans through Lovesexy cover photo, IWUH video, and Mia Bocca video) was also working with Les Rita Mitsouko at that time. Don't know how the connection from Jesse to Les Rita Mitsouko evolved, but that album is definately great (not just because of the Jesse input).
