He is a really good bass and guitar player. Saw him with O'Bryan back in the day- he could SHRED!

With all due respect, Levi contributed mightily to the ever increasing blandness of Prince's music imo. Dez, Wendy & Lisa - he ain't. I wish he had just stayed in Sheila E's band.

Levi's a good musician, but I see him as one of the major influences that got Prince away from pioneering sounds and experimentation to immerse himself in and try to master more classic sounds, namely blues and jazz, etc. Which is both good and bad.

Someone should ask him about the Npg all stars project he screwed prince over prior to leaven paisley park in 94
