Before they leave on tour they will be launching this new band at the Artist's Quarter for two nights of Funk/R&B and Jazz. After many years of touring with the likes of David Sanborn, Bonnie Raitt, John Mayer as well as recording with Prince, George Benson, Joe Sample, Patti Austin and too many others to mention, Ricky Peterson has decided to go on tour with his brothers, Billy, Paul and nephew Jason. As an added feature, for this Australian tour, he will also have a very special guest, Shelia E on drums/percussion. Ricky just released his 5th solo CD. This is a 2 CD set of a compilation of favorite “hard to get” songs from all of his records PLUS 3 NEW FUNKY SONGS. For these two very special shows, Ricky, Billy, Paul, Jason, Michael and Patty will be performing many of these songs from Ricky's new CD. The Band at THE ARTISTS' QUARTER for these two shows will feature Ricky Peterson - Keyboards and Vocals Billy Peterson - Bass and Vocals Paul Peterson - Guitar and Vocals Jason Peterson - Delaire - Sax and Vocals Michael Bland - Drums Patty Peterson - Vocals Special Performance By - Jeanne Arland Peterson There will be no reserved seating for these shows so we suggest you arrive early.
