Fun tune. I dig the Vanity6 / Apollonia 6 days. I do nothing professionally. I only do things for fun. johnart: Acrylic's old bras is where tits of all sizes go to frolic after they die. Tit Heaven.

This was acute song and they didn't overdo it. I like "Wet Dream Cousin" as well. When go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

I love this track! It's my 2nd favorite on the album, tied w/ "If A Girl Answers".
"Can't help it, can't help it, can't help it. Ooh honey, honey, boy's so fine..." How can I stand 2 stay where I am? / Poor butterfly who don't understand.

I like how Brenda takes charge near the end of the song. She lets her voice be heard:
everybody sing together!....make my body scream!

my body starts to quiver when I think of his next to mine
I know he could deliver the dam to the river anytime I think would have been an excellent single, but I wonder if radio stations would have shied away from it,because of its' suggestive title.

I agree. me too - but I always wanted to see Bite the Beat as a single. I think it would have gotten some traction in new wave circles. Sounds like it woud have fit perfectly on one of those 80s teem movies like Valley Girl or Ferris Bueller.

Actually,"Bite The Beat" was the fourth and final single from the album, but it went nowhere.Radio stations were afraid to play it,lol.

sadly, four singles were released from this album, but only one of them did well. "He's So Dull"-the first single didn't do very well "Nasty Girl"-reached the Top 10 on the R&B charts and was popular in the clubs "Drive Me Wild"-despite a cool remix and great video, this song went nowhere. "Bite The Beat"-this single was dead on arrival.
