The album is beautiful and if you were a fan of her Paisley Park release, you'll be greatly satisfied with her new album Simply beautiful, I've been waiting YEARS for this album!

Yep, I'm waiting for my physical copy. I was a little disappointed that we didn't get the download too (like W&L's last CD), but what they hey, I can wait a week or two.

it has been almost 20yrs since her first official solo album. the exspirience of the prince world made her step out of the music scene 4 a while, focusing on her family. Ingrid met and married david s. and collaborated with him for years until there divorce a couple of years ago...

I have been listening to this new album alot. and i beleive that this is her best work to date. stand out tracks to me are..

this album is in many ways better than her 91' release. everyone please check this out. my fav album of 2010 so far.

Received it. I like it a lot, cool and quiet album with great instruments on it (and her voice) !!! Ingrid's really a lady, and a beautiful one !

My copy arrived yesterday, I'm gonna give it time to soak in over the week.

I got this off iTunes the other day. Very interesting. I like the concept - simple acoustic instrumentation (violins, woodwind) with 'flutters' of digital effects throughout. It's sonically consistent. Interesting poetry. Some songs seem to finish a little prematurely to me though - they seem to 'stay put' in their emotion. I would have liked to have heard more of a build up, or more of a story-tellling vibe. You can pretty much get the vibe after a 30 second snippet of each. Hope that makes sense. I've only listened to it once right through now, so this is all just my initial reactions. Definitely worth checking out.

mine arrived yesterday and I am delighted with it... very good if you can get some peace and quiet to listen to it. even bose can't drown out my family.
are they all autographed? or is it just fancy printing? it looks like a silver pen and is a nice touch either way.
