That is from the excellent French music program "Lunettes noires pour Nuits blanches" (dark glasses for sleepless nights). It was aired once a week and filmed in a nightclub( 1988-90). The host, Thierry Ardisson, was cutting-edge at the time and his show had replaced "Les Enfants du Rock" best music show ever!
The concept of the section was to show the artist interviewed by his own double. One took the place of the host asking questions. It was pretty cool at the time! . . [Edited 1/24/10 5:03am]

They were still kinda raw there weren't they, from the split that is.
Good stuff thanks for posting. I like the phrase "86'd" . [Edited 1/24/10 9:12am]

Good stuff thanks for posting. I like the phrase "86'd" Raw from the Revolution split? 3 years after the fact? Nah, I don't think so. They had Prince remixing a song for them on their 2nd album, which was 1989. I think they dealt with those feelings on their first album. By 1989, they really had a momentum going w/ their band, their music, etc.

Yeah, I know the history, just their body language when discussing Prince showed a lot of conflict IMO.
