VANITY - 7TH HEAVEN This song is one of her best solo efforts. She actually has a voice on it. Such an 80s sound but cool. And of course she was tre magnifique.

If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

I love this song as well as the movie. At least she could deliver a preformance. That is more than most Prince hotties could do. Proverbs 23:9

Genius is born, not made. Prince is a Genius. No question. RIP Legend.

But I guess Solid Gold had those dancers anyways. They usually danced behind almost everyone. But I totally agree that having some dancers would've been better for her. That audience seemed half dead. Genius is born, not made. Prince is a Genius. No question. RIP Legend.

She didn't actually sound like she could sing until the Skin on Skin album "Get up off that grey line"

This song is so camp! The part of the song when she is doing a sort of Japanese accent[martial arts theme taken quite literally] is well funny and a bit weird. Elevata door!!! Ha Ha.

Vanity always intrigues me. I don't know what it is about her but she is so fascinating to me. Back then and now that she came to know God.
I like this performance too. I like the way she sings. She's not the best singer but I really enjoy watching her dance and put on a show.

I agree "Under The Influence" is the first time that she sounded decent on a single. Her vocals on 'Wild Animal' and "7th Heaven" are atrocious.
