VANITY - 7TH HEAVEN

This song is one of her best solo efforts. She actually has a voice on it. Such an 80s sound but cool. And of course she was tre magnifique.

Vanity sigh

No wonder she was always high, she needed some sort of confidence booster since they couldn't even afford a couple of backing dancers to pad out the performance.

Great track though, and one of the few Vanity solo tracks available easily on CD.

I love this song as well as the movie. At least she could deliver a preformance. That is more than most Prince hotties could do.

Ha Ha,yeah I know what ya mean. But this was a time before they used to have all those backing dancers, I think.

Oh yeah, that's true. But I guess Solid Gold had those dancers anyways. They usually danced behind almost everyone. But I totally agree that having some dancers would've been better for her. That audience seemed half dead. lol

This song is so camp! The part of the song when she is doing a sort of Japanese accent[martial arts theme taken quite literally] is well funny and a bit weird. Elevata door!!! Ha Ha.

Vanity always intrigues me. I don't know what it is about her but she is so fascinating to me. Back then and now that she came to know God.

I like this performance too. I like the way she sings. She's not the best singer but I really enjoy watching her dance and put on a show.

I agree nod "Under The Influence" is the first time that she sounded decent on a single. Her vocals on 'Wild Animal' and "7th Heaven" are atrocious.
