Hi... it's us, Wendy & Lisa coming to you in plain text!

It's been a couple months since we last updated you and thought, what better way then to let you know we have another FREE download available!

One of the cool things we are currently working on is a WFOWC remix album. We've asked a few friends to pick a track and have at it. King Britt has already done his homework and returned with an amazing version of "Sweet Suite." We are beyond excited and have put it up on our website as a FREE DOWNLOAD Sweet Suite (Remixed by King Britt). More to come!

Another new season of network TV has started and two of our shows had their season premieres this week.... HEROES and MERCY. If you are a fan of Heroes you might be interested in our SCORE cd that came out a couple months ago. (We are also planning on making some autographed ones available via our website. If you are interested, please email us...!) We had such a great time on the first season of Showtime's NURSE JACKIE and can't wait to start Season 2. In addition to the music to the show, we also composed a really cool title theme. Funnnky!

I got this as soon as it went up recently. I THINK they played a clip of this (if not the whole thing) on a recent Girl Bros. radio show on Luxuriamusic. Even W&L were impressed with how it came out, since the original has some weird time signatures in it. People in the chat room were really digging it when it was played. (They also played a couple of songs from the unreleased album with Trevor Horn....which were AWESOME!)

I think they are planning a remix CD in the near future, but not sure.

There's another Girl Bros. show this weekend. I THINK it's Lisa's MusicLab. It starts at 9 p.m. PDT on LuxuriaMusic.com. Register and log into the chat. Wendy, Lisa, Renata (Lisa's g/f and W&L's manager, as well as manager for fDeluxe aka The Family). Last week or week before, Cole was in the chat as well, talking about the post-Prince days in the W&L band. It never fails to be a very fun chat and radio show. The shows usually last 2 hours.

Yeah, there's something to Lisa's vocals are perfectly suited to the original. Stripped of the originals ambiance, the vocals sound odd to me. The remixer would have better suited the update if the vocals were tweaked a bit, IMHO.

I like the remix - in a different way. I'm a big downtempo fan and it hits me right where I like it. But dig the original too!
