Wish I could go. I saw Mazarati back in the day and they jammed.

This sounds good, but I'm a little suspcious of a couple of those folks listed as having worked with Prince: Donnie LaMarca? G Sharp ? When and where did that happen? I've never heard of either one of them.

When it said "several VERY special surprise guests" would be there, it made me wonder if Prince would make a surprise appearance? I probably am just getting my hopes up for nothing. Even if Prince DID say he was going to be there, who's to say he wouldn't change his mind at the very last minute? RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Even if Prince DID say he was going to be there, who's to say he wouldn't change his mind at the very last minute? don't get your hopes up. they tried to hype it last year like prince "might" be there, but of course it didn't happen. and you know what? they didn't NEED him there. it was an excellent show with or without dude actually being there in person. the whole night was worth it to me just to a) hear eric leeds play his sax all night; b) have a chance to hear "modernaire" live; and c) hear the man himself, dr. matt fink, tear it up on the keyboard solo for "head". just for those three things alone, i was more than satisfied with last year's show.

That looks like it's going to be a fun time. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that
