TheVideo4 "Sister Fate" Y'all seen the video? It was the FIRST music video ever that I saw! As I grew up I watched it again & again & again - and the tape's not falling apart yet! 
The clothes and stuff are indeed slightly tacky and stuff, but HECK!, I dug it (and still do in a funny kinda' way)! Sheila looked SEXY with those moody eyes and knee-high boots, the whole set fit well with the tone of the album and the image projected by her and the band (and indeed Prince at that time 2). Who loves it? (PS-my favourite bit was seeing Prince's face pop up near the end..."Who is Sheila E.'s Secret Love?" Remember 'dat?! Ahh...) SMELLY-JELLY* | |

I love the clothing and the style. It wasn't cheesy or tacky, it was great! It was creative and romantic at the time. It was released just after the Raspberry Beret video so the intro has some newspaper shot of a Prince and Sheila in some romance News story tabloid thing.
I have that video somewhere, what I really want is to hear that Romance 1600 on CD. I have the vinyl but no record player! Interesting to note that the percussionist/drummer dude is in Santana's group right now. His name is Karl Perrazo. He's bad. In fact, he is also in a latin rock jazz band, can't remember the name, that Neto was in just before Neto went to play keys for Prince! It's a small music world. | |

4 U,NWF, I truly wish they'd show it so u could see it - it's CLASSIC! I LOVE that video! Takes me back, and Sheila is HOT! Also the "A Love Bizarre" video -> that woman is FIIINE! I'd love 2 kiss her spine...and do things we never do!

Sheila's band in the video was mostly for show, because the guy on saxaphone is her brother Peter Michael and the girl on guitar is her sister Zina. Her brother Juan is the guy in the red jacket and Benny Rietveld (now in Santana) is on the bass. | |
