Why is it so hard to find a Vanity6/App.6 album?? I don't understand: Why isnt it at least on Amazon.com or E.Bay @ a reasonable price?? I'm in the mood for love...simply because your near me. | |

Well because the Vanity 6 album has been out of print for a long time, and the Apollonia 6 album was only released on CD as an import to the US. http://www.facebook.com/p...111?ref=ts

I got a Vanity 6 import CD within the last year.  We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. | |

You can try garage sales, got ALLLLL my Prince albums Michael, Janet, Teena M blazzay blazzy from one So going back, the dude had a record store basically! Well, he was a dj. Also flea markets.. thirft stores found some there too YES! I SAID IT!

There are still sealed NOS copies of Vanity 6 floating around record stores. The Apollonia 6 was a very limted release CD, so it's much harder to find a legit copy. Of course, there are the Canadian counterfeits of both "6" albums easily obtainable on eBay.
I guess I didn't know that the prices were up at $100-$150 for an original. I have an extra copy that I should think about selling. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |
