It's hard to be defending Bria when people make posts like this. I think Bria's voice is fine. But I know 50 other women that can sing her ass under a table including myself. Prince chose her for whatever reason but it was not like he was out holding auditions either. | |

You make a really good point with your sig... If know one knew that girl from Dreamgirls and Prince just sat her on a chair and said sing and he then threw out the CD. Do you think the critics around here would be any different to what your reading? | |

While taste and opinion can matter. Fact is fact. Susan Boyle can sing. And can sing live. Whether or not we like the way she looks, acts, etc is one thing.
I cant stand Mariah or Christina Aguilera. But they can sing. And they can sing live. They sound contrived and trying to be soulful. So I dont like them. And its just an opinion and one that shouldnt matter to any of them. As for Miss V I dont think she can sing based on her voice on record. Im sure her live version will be suckier unless she has that stuff that tunes voices on stage like Enrique Iglesias. (He cant sing either btw). 
Anyway. Fact is Bria cant sing. Maybe she can carry a tune and harmonize but that in no way means she can sing.  | |
