Lets show some love for David Z .....And now, a fam love moment from an org “hater”
David Z love. I was just listening to Jody Watleys amazing "Still A Thrill" I know Andre (I will say "supposedly" because of the fam in me) wrote that song, but I kept thinking there was no way there was no Prince involvement in that amazing song, dripping and oozing the signature 80's Prince sound, …..until I realized that David was involved in the production of that record, as well as having a huge part in the production of Prince's "Kiss"….. and the production of so many Prince related artists and albums, such as The Family, Jill Jones, Mazarati, Under The Cherry Moon. etc... So David has had a great impact on what we consider to be the “Classic” Prince sound, so now I can’t as easily fam out, taking anything away from Andre, thinking he wasn’t really responsible for that awesome Jody Watley song. We know that "Kiss" would be nowhere near as good if it wasn’t for David's inspired use of the linn drum running throughout the cut. I'm not an expert on Mr. Rivkin but thought he needed some much deserved love here on the org. (P.S I mean no disrespect to the equally awesome Andre Cymone, which i also love, just wanted to shed some light on the awesome Mr.David Z.) [Edited 6/17/09 8:12am]

Is this The Edge from U2? If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

Also, he probably wouldn't be posing w/ a guitar, or a headband (which I've never seen him wear). It's no doubt they are brothers though, very much resembling each other. But no, that ain't Robert.
