- They were pretty candid in that they really do want to get back with Prince and genuinely seem to feel lost without him. Really? I didn't hear anything that said they were lost without him. I'd like to be that lost. Guess I'll have to check it out in re-broadcast.

I'd like to be that lost. Guess I'll have to check it out in re-broadcast. I'd have to agree. They expressed that they think a Revolution reunion would be special and something they would like to do if offered the chance, but seem to genuinely understand that Prince is in a completely different place and will probably never warm to the idea. The poster who said they feel lost without Prince might have meant within the context of the Revolution. When Wendy was talking about doing a Revolution reunion without Prince and how it just wouldn't feel right, how it would feel "weird," like Queen without Freddie Mercury. Certainly in a larger sense, they are not lost, and they never alluded to that. They really have their shit together. They went right from the Revolution to a successful solo career. Not Prince-level successful, but successful nonetheless (especially overseas), and if you haven't heard their albums, they really are fantastic. They've recorded consistently with a plethora of diverse musicians, and scored a lot of films and TV series. And, they have families. "Lost" suggests they are sitting around, no money, waiting for Prince to call. No doubt, they'd like that call. But, they seem to accept its not coming and have never based their career on a Revolution reunion. [Edited 6/12/09 7:26am] [Edited 6/12/09 7:27am]

But what about the brief Revolution-reunion in 1999 that included everyone but Wendy & Lisa. They didn't comm, ent on why they weren't part of that, nor did Anxiety ask them my question about why they supposedly declined working on the Revolution-album Roadhouse Garden that same year. I think they were unavailable for the "brief-reunion" in 1999 because they were in Australia at the time, working with Neil Finn, if I remember correctly. As for the Roadhouse Garden album, I'm still not sure what happened but I think it may be as simple as them being really busy with scoring at the time, and then by the time they became available, Prince probably had already lost interest (that's just speculation, but I could easily see that being the case).

Yes, a question about the Roadhouse Garden album would have been good, I thought quite a few people asked that on here...is it too late to ask them?
The Question would be: Around 1999, Prince alluded to the Roadhouse Garden album that he made with your involvement. He implied it could only be released if you gave permission for it. Have you refused permission for this to be released / have you been asked? If not, would you give it the OK? Thanks, In Part 6 they offered dinner with them....WOW. Its nice that they are so accessible to us, they are truly gifted people. Request to W and L: Please release the funky songs you mention you left of White Flags ,,, [Edited 6/12/09 9:06am] [Edited 6/12/09 9:08am] [Edited 6/12/09 9:20am]

Request to W and L: Please release the funky songs you mention you left of White Flags ,,, I took it they meant have a webcam at the dinner, not a fan personally I don't think Prince implied he needed W&L's permission, it was more an issue of him getting his panties in a knot because they wouldn't/couldn't do everything on his schedule and terms. (There was an interview with W&L at the time that sparked the "Lendy & Wisa" comment on the old L4OA site).

It would be nothing but a cash grab. Even Wendy refers to the financial motivations behind the idea. What would P have to gain by the whole thing? There would be no creative or artistic benefits. High School reunions always suck.

OMG i'm laughing my ass off at Lisa, "He invited us over for dinner and he (makes gun cocking sound) BOOM....fired us, and then was like I didn't mean to kill you! Why did you die?" Classic.

How in the heck is "In A Large Room With No Light" about the firing of Wendy and Lisa? Or that makes it sound like THEY left HIM? And I always thought that was THEM singing the background!

I think Wendy was confused...she probably thought we were asking about "In This Bed I Scream." They both begin with "In..." That's my guess.
