Do any of you recall what the 1999-album was called before the title track was added? And do you recall what tracks there were on that summer 1982 early configuration? biggrin

Is it true that Lisa once slapped Prince and if so, why? biggrin

Is it true that you declined working on a Roadhouse Garden album with Prince and if so, why? biggrin

How many comics does Lisa have in her collection and is she more into Marvel or DC? biggrin

What is Lisa's favorite science fiction film? biggrin

What does Wendy think about Prince writing songs about Susannah long after their break-up, like Violet The Organ Grinder (1991) and Zannalee (1993)? biggrin

Grace Jones' "Williams' Blood" is probably the best song of last year from an excellent album. Grace Jones (or her people) have said that she recorded at least two albums worth of material. Is there another song you worked on with her? Would you work with her again?

Do you still listen to Prince? What is your favorite Prince song/album that was made after your tenure with him?

Good questions thumbs up!

Wendy, how did you become involved in playing guitar on Scritti Politti's 1999 album "Anomie and Bonhomie" ? Were you aware of Green's work before, and what do you think of his latest album, White Bread Black Beer?

Lisa - Have you ever seen the UK shows Doctor Who or Torchwood, and what do you think of them?

Both - I would love to see you working with Jill Jones at some point - any chance?

Thanks for all your beautiful music throughout the years, and especially thanks for the "fancy lesbian" quote in that interview recently, it was one of the funniest things I have ever read in my life lol X

Lisa - you’re playing keyboards in the 1999 video. The second chord seems to have absolutely every note in it! What the heck?? Somebody please please tell me what the hell is wrong!

GirlBros - Some wacky things happen in Revolution songs... Like the middle section of Mountains, the strange chord changes in Christopher Tracy's Parade, and the weird constant key changes in Do U Lie. Who came up with these ideas? Do you think Prince really understood those things from a technical standpoint, did he just intuitively come up with them, or did they come from somebody else entirely? Do reveal!

In 1992 on the Diamonds & Pearls Tour, one of the messages that Prince flashed up on the screens prior to the gigs was..."WENDY & LISA PHONE HOME".

Were you aware of that, and did you have any contact with him and that time, or around that time?

these questions are open to both lisa and wendy, and it would be nice to hear both replying to each, to see how they share some opinions and differ on others

1) what question do you think prince would least like anyone asking about him?

2) what is the answer to that question?

3) what do you think about all the bootlegs that are circulating amongst fans of both studio material and live shows and rehearsals that you were involved with?

4) what do you think of all the unreleased songs that remain in prince's vault that you worked on?

5) do you feel it's a shame to have worked on so much material that may never be heard at least legitimately by fans?

6) are you aware of how much unreleased prince material circulates amongst fans, and thus can give an indication of how much more there might be locked away that you have worked on with him that we haven't heard or don't know much about? the burning question that many fans want to know is if there are any large amounts of revolution tracks stuck away in the vaults that we don't know about, and with a lot of wishful thinking could perhaps one day be released somehow

7) on a scale of 1 to 10, how much do you hate being asked questions about prince?

8) what question are you never asked about in interviews that you wish was asked? and what's the answer?

9) do you checkout prince fan sites like the org and housequake? are you members, and have you ever checked out the chatrooms?

10) what artists around today would you like to work with?

11) what artists that are no longer around, in the entire history of music, would you like to have worked with?

12) what do you regret the most from working with prince?

thanks!

How did you feel when Prince wrote songs about you or referencing you? Ie, the 1980 outtake entitled "Lisa", or "Little Girl Wendy's Parade" before it was renamed to "Christopher Tracy's Parade"?

This question is to both Wendy and Lisa: which person was the most influential (and how did that person influence or inspire you) in you starting playing the instrument of your choice....piano being Lisa's and guitar being Wendy's?

Hello Ladies,
First of all I want to thank you for continuing to share your gifts with the world. I also want to thank you again for your kindness and grace when we met and you talked to me and my daughter, in Austin after the funksway show.

Now to the questions:
LISA: It has been said that Joni Mitchell is one of your major influences, if this is true, in what way? is it her writing? her musical composition? Explain.

LISA: My favorite songs are usually the ones that you have the lead vocal. Don't Try to Tell Me, tops this list and is very significant to me. Will you tell me the history of this song? why it was written?

BOTH: When are you coming back to Texas for a show? I would love to hear both old and new material. Is there a standard playlist of songs that you perform or do you mix it up a bit?

BOTH: How is motherhood for you? How has it affected your writing?

thanks again for taking time out to answer our questions, we really appreciate it.

Will you do any more intimate acoustic shows like you did at Arlene's Grocery in NYC years ago?

Which artists would you like to work with next? What artists do you think are progressive and changing the face of pop music today?

Will the Revolution ever perform again?

Speaking of which....Submit your questions below. We're tentatively looking at getting a list to the gals by May 21, so get crackin'...

What was the last Prince song that you loved?

Your first show here in London (post-revolution) was one of the best gigs I've ever been too - When are you coming back to play?

As a long time follower, I am familiar with your body of work as well as Prince's. I believe we can take Prince's career and segment it into periods. The 'rise' would of course be 1978 through 1982. The climax would be 1984's Purple Rain' but to many of us, it is the 1984-1988 period that puts him in his own stratosphere. I think many people today marvel at his abilities as a musician more than the most important thing which is the incredible unique mix up music he put out in this period. The 12" single extensions were more interesting than a lot of what he has done years since. I see him as a natural who needed the right people around him to guide him. I admire his vision and single-minded determination but the out put during those mid 80s years (both what was released and what are still out takes) is what truly separates him from most of his peers.

How much influence have you had on that period? Do you agree that this period is what stand out most in his recorded career?

Finally, do you think he's insulated himself so much in the last 15 years that he just does not know that his output is inferior to years ago? OR, do you believe he just continues to march to the beat of his own drummer.
