Who really wrote The Time's, I Don't Wanna Leave You? ...Sounds like a Prince song to me. Is it?

Prince wrote and performed everything on The Time's first three records except vocals, some backing vox and cello. Ice Cream Castles has a co-writing credit to Morris Day. The Bird was a live performance by The Time with overdubs and a co-writing credit to Jesse Johnson. Jesse also received a co-writing nod on Jungle Love.
Pandemonium was mix of Prince-on-everything(except vox) tracks and group recorded cuts. Jamie Starr/The Starr Company was a Prince pseudonym. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

This is the song I keep bugging them to play live. Hell it took me 10 years to get them to drop Skillet into the setlist, so maybe it will happen...eventually

I've heard that Jesse was involved in the writing of the song.
