i thought John Blackwell was supposed to have recorded with Prince last year?

Dr funkenberry had an articicle late last year, john described the music as Controversy part two - the saga continues

I think heard people saying he is drumming on MPLSound. Not sure if that's true though.

Wow! Today must be a "I forgot to use my brain for thinking" day - it's quite obvious that Blackwell's drum sound is ALL OVER LotusFlow3r.

That's cuz he wasn't on it. If he did record w/ JB, it might surface later. I'm frankly glad he got back w/ Sonny and Michael. That's the tightest band he's ever had. The Revolution was a close 2nd, but that first NPG post-Tony M. was TOPS.
