i love that they have the ability to talk about their days with prince without acting as though they're defined by it. by the same token, it's nice that they can do interviews about their days with prince without being all "oh, do we have to talk about HIM? we've moved on." rolleyes

they've got a great attitude. nod

Well, their musical relationship with Prince was very different than some other people who have gone through the camp. Take someone like Miko or Chance Howard for instance. They might have just been "employees". Its well known that Prince was close to Lisa and Wendy for a long time. Lisa was around when he was "small time" all the way up to what was probably the height of his career, so there's probably a different sentiment than that of someone like Kirky J. or Tony M. But yeah, they seem to give cool interviews.

there's even a pic, that could have possibly had been the album cover?

hope this new site has stuff like this that we can download.. but let's all hope that if he does release it to us, that it's not heavily edited for content, becuz of his religious beliefs. i want it the way he originally intended every recording he offers. let me deal with the cussing, or dirty sex talk.. don't edit it for my well being.

This was a great interview. W&L were very clear with their story. It made me feel like I was there with them during that time in 1986 when they were making Dream Factory. I wish that had come out officially. And "All My Dreams" is an excellent track and to hear how it was made is just amazing. You learn something new in the Prince World from time to time. And all of this is great timing with P's new CD's coming out. Cool stuff man! thumbs up!
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Ummmmm... Has anyone noticed the comments following the interview???

Someone is pretending 2 be Prince... or is.

The correct spelling of junior's last name is Doyle Bramhall.

Eye am sorry that they were not credited properly on Sign O' The Times. Eye will request that Warner address this in time for the June re-release.

Many of the trax mentioned in the above article will b released in June by Warner when my long overdue remastered Warner catalog is made available. Each of the discs will include a 2nd disc of previously unreleased trax.

A European tour will follow where only previously unreleased trax will b played.

That's a boot you are hearing, not an official consumer grade release. The boot is excellent sound-wise, unusual for most outtakes, but the same thing that has been available for years.

Just an interpretation by a fan. Nothing connected with the original project.

Well I'm sure it is fake, but with Prince U just never know.

This person, if fake, knows how 2 imitate well... Prince would have TOTALLY said "the correct spelling of junior's name is..."

Tough 2 tell. There was someone on the org a while ago, sending pretend-Prince messages, via OrgNotes, and they had Prince's method of communication down perfectly. Maybe they finally got some help... or maybe that's the same person.

....i don't believe in this one more time rumoured remastering Prince WB catalogue ready to be released ...i 'd really wish from the deep of my heart to see this happening but it's foolish to me(too much jokes like this since a long time from those that pretended to be Prince or so-called insiders) !

PS>Check your sources in the industry Gio, maybe u will get a reply??

Peace one more Brother!

Well, we shall see. Prince is nothing if not unpredictable. I wouldn't be surprised if we see it happen. I would expect that it wouldn't.

Warners may actually be catching on to whatever it is they've got. When the industry is in the tank, a re-master with new tracks could generate some money.

Anyone knows who plays bass on 'In all my dreams'?

Is it Brownmark or Prince himself?

Will have to check them out if they come to NYC. One of the most amazing shows I ever went to was W&L at the Bottom Line back in the Eroica days. Incredible band. They were Riotgrrls before it was cool.
