MADHOUSE

I have yet to hear the music of Prince's hard-funk machine. Could someone describe to me of this music and which albums I should get? Hopefully I'll tune into it one day.

TRON

Get it all. It's all brilliant! The best of his side projects/assosciated artists if you ask me. It's quite expensive to get original copies of '8' or '16'. But there are both shelved '24' albums from '89 and '93. Plus there's Eric Leeds' '91 album 'Times Squared' that is mostly a missing Madhouse project. Not to oversimplify but the sound of all the albums is roughly like this-

'8' = SOTT
'16' = Black Album
'24' = Lovesexy
New Power Madhouse (24) = The Vault

I agree with you Tron. This group/side project was str8 funky!! and brilliant! I still have my copies of 8 & 16 and I love them. I can't believe that they could not put out 24. I remember awhile back that people wre talking about more MadHouse music,but nothing came out I wish that they could!! Man I miss the good old days.

Try getting 'Things Left Unsaid' as well, if you can't get enough of Eric Leeds.
