What ever happen to Troy Beyer? She was in two Prince videos Sexy MF dressed in an outfit of pearls, and The Sacrifice Of Victor in the Interactive CD she worn in this video clip similar to the one Prince dressed in the Sexy MF video. I wonder was she a model, singer or actress? Does anyone know any information about her other than her appearance in these videos?

Actually the girl in pearls is Troy Beyer. I believe she is an actress, and was on Dynasty...but I am not 100% sure if that was what show she was on.

I seen a few of the movies like B.A.P.S but I didn't realize until now that was her in some of the movies she made appearances. The site also have some pictures of her attending JohnQ premiere party back in January 2002.

I've been trying to find a movie she was in called THE WHITE GIRL . Is Taimak from the Last Dragon in it with her? Does anybody know about this movie cause I can't find it anywhere ? Thanks.

Thanks so much. So any fans of Troy's and any of Taimak's from Berry Gordy's THE LAST DRAGON with VANITY may be interested in watching this film that was shown in the theaters in Limited release. But does anybody know how I can order it from somewhere?

I'm not 100% sure on this one (my memory's a bit foggy on this, so anyone please feel free to confirm or correct...!)
But, Troy Beyer either wrote or directed the movie BAPS. I remember going to see the movie specifically because she was in "player" mode, vs. artist mode, and that was intriguing to me. At that time, I hadn't heard of many Black women, other than Suzanne DePasse, who were doing this kind of thing, so I remember thinking it would be a cool thing to check out. Remember how small and unasssuming she appeared to be on Dynasty? To go from playing characters like that to being able to get a script to the screen was a pretty cool thing, I thought...

Last I heard she directed a DV film, I think it's called "Let's Talk About Sex". I never watched it but I saw pieces of it on cable here & there, it seems pretty lame...

Years ago I saw Troy Beyer on the uptown local at the 116th St. station in NYC. I also saw her outside the station (it's the Columbia Univ. station stop). I don't think she was a student, though. She might've lived in the neighborhood.
