Does anyone know who wrote this song and/or who plays the music on it? I just heard it for the first time yesterday, and I was interested in this information. I never bought the A6 album, so I did not have liner notes to read.

I LOVE the A6 album, one of the best associated artist-albums imo. Judging from the sound of the (live) drums, I would think it's Sheila E playing drums, as is the case on "A Million Miles".

I think that the A6 and V6 albums are funky on 2 different levels.....I love the A6 classic song "Some Kind Of Lover" and the muscianship is so TIGHT. V6 on the other hand is a well put together Piece of work. SO i like both.
