Aww, really? See??? This is very frustrating. You want to do right, and only buy legally, but then stuff like this. I am sorry, but Bria's voice sounds like the light weight pop music voice. I would like to hear someone with a voice that is pretty but with depth sing this song. It sounds like a song that need depth, not a gloss over. Ya know, the lyrics is about a woman that is reflecting on how she got into that situation, in love with a man that can only treat her as a kept woman... it should not be sung like a woman singing about getting her nails done. Tamar has a beautiful voice. Very soulful, and puts a lot of emotion into her songs and has good range when she sings.
I love her song "Runaway" that she has for purchase on her site, beautiful song. I purchased it 2 months ago and still listen to it. I also noticed that she has another song on her site, titled "Be With You," which is another song I like, but she doesn't have it available for purchase yet. Looking back at 2006, I felt that when Prince and Tamar sang together, their voices blended well together, and I enjoyed seeing them perform on the same stage. Great memories.
