Tamar played in Houston Monday but I wasn't able to go to the show.

Would it be possible for someone to post the lyrics, or parts of, to "Kept Woman"?...

They BOTH agreed to go their separate ways and yes they are both still friends. Maybe Prince suggested the split, either way they both agreed so it wasn't a messy "break up". Nothing happened romantically with her and Prince. During the time of the divorce it must have put a strain on his personal life which affected his business affairs, including Tamar. Also, I heard that Tamar had a different idea where her career should go so Prince could do nothing except let her go.

Also, although Tamar is a talented and beautiful girl, I personally dont think she was ever Prince's type.

I still think Tamar has a beautiful voice. She has a song call "Runaway" on her website for purchase and I purchased it. It's a beautiful song and she sings it with a lot of emotion.

I will say that the way they looked at each other and the care he took with her budding career. performances here there and everywhere...I mean, if he had to be hitting that cuz I loved Tamar but she was no Whitney or Beyonce. For Prince to invest that much energy, there was some degree of love/lust there. He hadn't put that much energy into a love interest/protoge since Vanity and Sheila. I'm jsut sayin'...

I like Tamars voice. Black sweat is about her? well, YES she does sweat alot. Some of the songs dont sound like a Prince prod. A couple doo like Kept Woman and Sunday in the Park, def Redheaded Stepchild. I wouldnt buy her album though unless it really reaked through and through of Prince Influence!!! BIASED FAN i know sorry,

BTW her album cover looks GROSS haha why did she do herself like that, it looks like, well you know . That photo makes her eyes look really far apart. She can make eye contact with people on opposite sides of the room without turning her head haha

I always felt Tamar wasn't interested in Prince romantically for some reason. I even think she wasn't really a deep fan of his, but just got a lucky chance to use the skills she learned in school to produce music with him based on her vocal talent.




Looking at that hug again during SNL, and Prince's overall enamored disposition around her (which I've never seen him project on television in the past), if he felt any intimate love for her at all, something about Tamar and Prince reminds me of the "11th Man/Woman Theory."

Anyway,like somebody else said in another thread...people LOVE 2 talk about the space between her eyes 4 some odd reason...but its ironic how Prince married Mayte despite of that same space. Mayte is also beautiful. People have different definitions of beauty tho. Some people think beauty is tall,light,with long 4ever changing dark hair Tamar looks more natural than alot of other women hes had around him.Oh...and her skin is beautiful.I could easily easily...easily be the one 2 hate on Tamar but I just feel bad 4 her @ this point
