At the top of the page of www.wendyandlisa.com click "free download "Balloon"

This will take you to a 2nd page where at the bottom you need to submit you email address and country info. Then it will automatically download to your computer as a compressed file which you need to unzip. I used Bitzipper to decompress the file, which worked fine.

It depends on what your default location for downloads is….
If you aren’t sure, I recommend doing a search. If you have Windows go to:
1.Start
2.Search-> for files and folders,
3.select “all files and folders”
4.click when was it modified?
5.enter the dates if you remember, otherwise select "within the last week"

All the files that you recently downloaded and/or worked on will pop up on the right. There is probably a similar search option for mac users...

Hey - thanks for the tip about the other version. You're right - the version on W&L.com is mastered much cleaner than the one on MySpace.

What a lovely song. I hate to use this as an adjective, but W&L sound mature. They appear to have grown up and evolved... I'm not going to type where I was going next.

This is, however, as good a Beatles rip-off as anything Oasis ever did.

I managed to find the file on my PC eventually. But although it's an mp3, my Ipod doesn't recognise it when I try to add it to my library.

Anyone had success adding it to an Ipod or similar?

Wonderful track. It feels like a Girl Bros outtake but as that's on of my favourite albums (and superior to anything by Prince post Emancipation, imho) then that's no bad thing. Can't wait for the album.

It almost certainly has downloaded - but you can do this (or at least I could last night). Log in again with the same email and password on the W & L site. It will tell you you have already registered with that email, but will then provide a link to allow you to download again. Right click as 'save target as', save it somewhere you know, and then Bob's your uncle.

By saving it this way, it even has all artist, album details, etc, and is easily imported to an Ipod too.
