Anna Garcia does not belong on that list because there is no album or single that was written by Prince. Her "career" took off a bit later.

Other than that, talentwise, I´d have to say Carmen Electra.Though she is really the most successful of that bunch, as Pandurito already said. The music was not really my cup of tea.
Mayte´s album on the other hand gets a lot of flack around here but it´s actually pretty good.

These are pretty good songs, regardless of her thin voice. The songs were not bad.

Jill Jones´ album was excellent, IMO. It came out waaaay too late and should have been released while the Purple Rain mania was still strong but 1987 was way to late. Good album, though, except for the shrieking on many songs.

I liked the stuff he did with Nona Gaye. a 1000 Hugs and Kisses is a very nice song that I still like a lot.

Mayte comes close, but at least her dancing added lots of energy to Prince's live shows

In Sheena's case though, I was speaking really specifically in that having had a career beforehand (the tv stardom, the grammy nod, being a coveted Bond Theme artist beforehand) I never saw her as a protege, because she had long forged a recognized artist identity before Old Dude came along. I've heard that Nona recorded music before she hooked up with him as well. I wish I had a chace to hear it. I never heard anyting from her before she showed up during the "Gold" era to cover one of her dad's tunes, and then the "Lovesign" song, which I was shaking my butt to like crazy

(as I go to look in my music pile to see if I still have that song to shake to )

Appolonia, thought I wouldn't call her a bimbo. She had nothing much to offer but her (amazing) looks.
