He might release something with a sellout shit hop sound to it and it would destroy the memory of his good name. Andy is a four letter word.

He's gotten even better with time. And Andy, is isn't an actual video -- just the song itself uploaded with the Livin' In The New Wave front cover. http://www.last.fm/user/somebodyunot

They never do though. They always come back with some shit hop sounding music because that's the only way they could possibly make some money these days considering the dull asses that are buying the new music these days. Prince is the only one left who has enough money and old fans to do what he wants and even he sells out with at least one song per album hoping to pick up new fans. Andy is a four letter word.

Thanks for posting this.
the cool thing is now youtube has a menu of links to similiar artist videos. I am now jamming "Living in the New wave" and next there is some Jesse Johnson link. I love being able to hear/see these old videos. "Remember, one man's filler is another man's killer" -- Haystack

Andre's albums are pretty solid. 'Survivin' The 80s' especially is a great album. MOTF and the last 3 tracks on Side B are brilliant. He had a real commercial side like Prince, but could stretch outside of that too.

i loved what he and dez brought to prince's band. i think they had more of a "white influenece" on his music than Lisa and Wendy did, in that Dez and Andre were into that pop, devoisque new wave thing that's all over Dirty Mind and Controversy which are his "creative breakthru" records. you can find the guitar rock stuff from Purple Rain on any radio station in America. God, I don't know where he's been hiding. Anyone have a recent photo of him? Genius is born, not made. Prince is a Genius. No question. RIP Legend.

Never heard this before. I like it. Thanks for posting. I'm trying to figure out what Prince song the synth part reminds me of....."Private Joy"? “The man who never looks into a newspaper is better informed than he who reads them, inasmuch as he who knows nothing is nearer to truth than he whose mind is filled with falsehoods and errors.”
