Anyone heard of Minneapolis funk band The Truth? Former bandmates of Prince and The Time (Eric Leeds, Jellybean Johnson, Kip Blackshire and Kirk Johnson) are in the band.

I spoke with St. Paul a couple weeks ago and he said that they are putting the finishing touches on a new album. Jellybean told me a week ago that the album is hot. I'll keep you posted. I'm not a musician so i'm not able to properly describe what i heard in all the technical terms. But what i can tell You is that i wasn't able to sit for long, and that everyone was up and dancing. Don't miss them if you get the chance.  [Edited 1/14/08 7:13am] | |
