Hey,

Does anyone know what type of guitars she used? I thought I saw somewhere that she used Dean, but am not sure.

I am slowly trying to build a collection of guitars based on the man and his people....While my fiance just shakes her head at me everytime I bring home or look to get a new one.

Well I don't know what her current guitars of choice are. As far as the electrics go, I recall a article on her in one the guitar rags years ago that she used very heavily modified Rickenbackers live with Prince, modded out to the point where they really weren't even Rics anymore. I've seen footage of her playing Telecaster or Tele-styled guitars too. I do recall probably from the same article that she used a Yamaha semi-hollow body, this was during the Parade" period.

I saw Wendy & Lisa live around the time their Eroica album was out. Outside of the Telecaster I can't recall vividly what else she used during the set. There were acoustics but I couldn't tell you what they were.

Hope that helps a bit.
