I'm just curious, what is everyone's favorite and least favorite solo song by Vanity?

I haven't heard "Flippin' Out", "Manhunt", "Confidential", "Gun Shy", "Romantic Voyage", "In the Jungle", or "Shotgun". Of her other songs,

I like "Under the Influence" the most, and "Strap on the robbie baby" the least, although "Animals" was pretty bad too.

IMO, most of Vanity's songs had really good beats, but sometimes the vocals weren't that great. I think that "Wild Animal", "Samuelle", "Undress" and "Faraway Eyes" all could have been hits if they had been released as singles. I'm surprised that "Under the Influence" wasn't a bigger hit on the pop and r&b charts.

I haven't heard a lot of her songs bcuz I can't find them but I love all of her songs(the ones I have heard)..I think my least fave is pretty mess...

Her best song: "Under The Influence"---After her first solo album ('Wild Animal') flopped,Motown brought in outside producers/songwriters and kept a close watch on the production of her follow-up."Under The Influence" was the first single from her second album 'Skin On Skin' and it is excellent.This time around,Vanity's vocals are clear and focused.She's not doing all that moaning and squealing (one reason why 'Wild Animal' is hard to listen to)."Under The Influence" is sexy and sultry,but not trashy or degrading.It's the best single she ever released,as a solo artist.

Her worst song: "Crazy Maybe"---The last track on 'Wild Animal',this song is just horrible.Bad lyrics,terrible vocals

I love: Flippin' Out, Pretty Mess (12'' Version), Strap On "Robbie" Baby, Samuelle, Mechanical Emotion, Under The Influence, Confidential, Animals, Ouch, Undress

I don't have any songs which I don't like from Vanity, but the aforementioned ones are my definite favorites!

I am partial to Pretty Mess and the song she did with Morris on Wild Animal.
