Apollonia Make-Up Tips Hi Orgers!
As we all know Halloween is coming up and about a month beforehand, my friends and I all try to come up with what we're dressing as. Anyway, my two friends and I want to as "1980's Prince Fans" and we figured that we wanted to do our make-up like Apollonia wore hers in the 80s. The only thing is, none of us are really her skin color. I'm a little darker like Susan Moonsie, one of my friends is really pale and the other is about Prince's skin color. What I really want to know is what kind of colors should we use, because I know that 80s make-up looks are heavier than what they are now. If anyone has any tips, please tell me! Thanks in advance! Also lots of red lipstick and long red nails will complete the look! Make sure to find the right red for your skin tone.

Hey!
Thanks for all the tips guys! I never ever thought about wearing my purple and grey eyeshadow together. (I usually wear purple and black or purple and gold lol)And yes, I know that the "right" red is imperative lol. (I have a tube that I spent a bundle on and the color is WRONG for me! Thanks so much! I have one more question--as far as blush goes, for an 80s look, I put it onto the hollow of my cheek, under the cheekbone, right? Thanks again! (And I won't forget my gold hoop earring, cape or flask! I wonder of Prince'll knock the flask out my hand if I try to drink from it!) I love a Man who:

I was Apollonia for a party once...yes try a striking bright pink blush under the cheekbone and yes I hate that when you spend a grip on a lipstick and it looks hidious..expecially with red it can look all wrong!! I got a sexy blood red lip gloss from MAC and it REALLY was bold but it was wet and glossy just like Apples used to wear! Also don't forget alot of black eyeliner!! Good luck!! Don't forget the bouncy curly volumized hair!!

Just a warning, don't be dissapointed if no one knows who the hell you are. I was Apples/Vanity like for a 80's theme party this last weekend, and no one, I mean no one knew who that was. Which was totally crazy to me since most people there were in their 30s/40s.
Have fun with it though, just don't get frustrated when they look at you like
