Well. . . I guess the rumors are true. They look good together. Is it me, or is Mani kinda looking like Halle???? That Eric sho' is fine and he's a really good performer at least he's singing/playing live music. You can tell he's VERY influenced by Prince's music. Maybe he figures that if he can't be Prince, hittin' his ex-wife is the next best thing. Just kidding. . . kinda. . .

I have to comment on the dress that is hidious. It make her look pregnant. Oh that is so bad of me. I think Mani is a very pretty women I just don't like that dress. She has a nice body and I believe if you have it show it.

Hold the hell on!!!!! Mani is with Eric now???? She went from one sexy sex-addicted musician to another. That girl didn't learn her lesson from Prince.

But I'd kill to have her track record.

Hmmm...if I was married to P and then got divorced,I don't think I would really want anybody else after THAT.....its like she had the best,who needs the rest.

Almost a year I thought that she file for a D a year ago now. HHMMM. I hope she is happy. It has got to be tough after being with someone like P to move on because you know people are watching every move you make and judging what you do. Even though I said that dress is ugly. Sorry, I just think of what P would say

Was Mani supposed to sit home and wait for Prince to come back? Was she supposed to disappear from the big scene when she had just started? What do some of you expect?
She's moving on in her life and doesn't care what people say. She stays in the spotlight, spends the money as long as she can have it... good for her.

MANI, I just wish I had this strengh to make it the way you did. You're an inspiration for some of us working lurking on this site, working a full time job, paying our bills and spending time dreaming about Prince or reading threads on Prince.org.

Yeah, but I understand what gypsyfire is saying. At one time, Prince was the best for Mani. They had a long run together. Most relationships come to an end. However, just because a relationship comes to an end, it does not mean that one person was not the best for the other person. Sometimes it takes leaving or losing that person to realize that they were the best. I felt a hint of this in Mayte's comments about Prince when she said how he was so attentive and made you feel like the center of the universe among other things.

So for his faults (which we all have), it still seems that when he is on, he is ON! Obviously Mayte now has more experiences to compare Prince to, so she sees that. Also, it is the same as the women who dated Marvin Gaye and Bob Marley who said nothing else really compared to being with them. These are unique, extremely talented, handsome, almost otherworldy men who have achieved great success. They have tons of beautiful women throwing themselves at them, so for the time that a woman captures and holds that man's attention, it has to feel like nothing else in the world. It would be hard for anyone to top that. So anything else is a step down. That's why Prince's exes seem to try and recapture that thing with another musician. However, it will never be the same Eric is fine, but he ain't no Prince. And lawd knows Tommy Lee isn't.
