Did Andre really create the basslines on UPTOWN, I'M YOURS AND DO ME BABY? this is what he claims?

just because a song has the same chords doesnt mean it was stolen. The songs Aint No Mountain High Enough (Diana Ross) and Friends and Strangers (Ronnie Laws) have the same chords. All the songs have different melodies |

THe question I never understand is.....
....why the F*CK didn't Andre call a lawyer???? Or any other people who say he ripped them off? i'm not saying I don't believe them..... an I get why a CURRENT bandmate might figure they better not bite the hand that feeds them etc.... But if Andre had already quit..... why the hell didn't he sue??? Seriuosly. (I'm sure Avril Lavigne would like to know the answer too!)  |

Yvette "Corvette" Marine took on Paula Abdul and she didn't have big bank to go against A&M or whoever was Paula's label. She lost (although actually I think she deserved to win; Paula can't sing!) but at least she got to court. |

Prince is not a thief. If it was serious, Andre would've done something a long time ago. Besides, if there was any friction between the 2, why would Prince write Dance Electric for Andre. Hmmm? Peace and be wild! | |
