We all know Prince selects proteges based on their looks rather than their vocal abilities, but who takes the cake for being the most talentless one of all time judged on their music with him, my list in no order.

Many of Prince's female proteges couldn't sing to save their lives,but Apollonia is especially bad.Notice that,on the Apollonia 6 album,she is only featured singing lead on only two songs ("In A Spanish Villa" doesn't count since she talks her way through that).Prince knew that she couldn't sing,so he gave Brenda a more prominent role.You know things are bad when the "lead singer" doesn't even sing most of the leads,lol.

I don't think many of his proteges had any real talent.

We all know Sheila is very talented and Tamar, Rosie and Bonnie can sing, but in all honesty, the rest were just there for filler. Mayte was sweet and had some nice moves, but no real talent. She's an average dancer.

I agree Tamar had a voice and present, and since 1990, how many shitty Proteges have been on a Prince album. 3121 I think was a Prince featuring Tamar album and then there were the little inserts promoting Tamars lost first album. I think after Sheila E Tamar is right up there as one of the better proteges
