Then the husband wakes up in bed next to the psycho dressed in the wife's negligee, who is bound and gagged in the basement, and not in a fun way. . I'm not saying that Mani's crazy but it's all kinda suspect. Sorry, I digress. . .

However, at least those people are having some action happenning in their lives. Not like the boring life where you kiss your wife/ hubby home, go to work, come back home, watch some movie, cook, have dinner, do the dishes, call up your friends, go to bed, spend the week-end visiting grand-parents, going to Dysney Land, ... They make their dream come true. I'm not just talking about the people who moved to Minneapolis who tried to make it closer to Prince but also people like Madonna who left her boring place Michigan, made it to New York and found her way to fulfill her dream.

Which is quite admirable and to be commended. Going to New York with $35 in your pocket, no home, no job, no friends/family and STILL making it to the heights Madonna has is simply miraculous. Now THAT's a dream worth having and she did the damn thing.

In contrast, I don't really see how pursuing and marrying the "rock star" that hung on your wall in posters is really a "dream" worthy of praise. Now it shows ambition, cunning, and forethought. . . but MLK she ain't. Now I'm not hating on her cuz she worked her plan, I'm just saying that her "dream" as you call it seems dependent on some rather questionable actions and activities. But hey, if I was in her position I may have done the same thing. Except the moving to another country to work at Paisley Park part. That's just plain nutty. . . sorry.

I mentionned Madonna as an example among others of people who made it. I could have mentionned Cinderella as well. She fell in love with the Prince all the women in the kingdom wanted to be with. Fulfilling your dream is admirable and I praise people who do so as long as they're not doing the wrong things to get to them.
Now, after thinking, who knows if Mani slept with half of Paisley Park to get to Prince?
