What is the update regarding this protogee's album...will it EVER be released or is she back playing in a Beyone Tribute Band plus all-you-can eat tacos for 10 dollars in some joint in Las Vegas?

It will never be released. Some tracks have surfaced, some will probably turn up on her new album, which Prince has no other involvement in.

She discussed that on Emancipation Radio last night. That question was asked. I believe she kind of mentioned it was due to something like creative differences with the record company about some tracks on the album.

All in all, I have to say it was a pretty good interview. Thanks Jedi for letting us know yesterday. As a matter of fact she had "Milk & Honey" playing on her myspace page not too long ago. It would be nice though if she released "Sunday in the Park". I also love the track "All I Want Is You". Her voice is extremely clear on that track. I have the single that she gave away last year to some fans waiting on line just outside the Empire last year.
