Define protege---does it have to be someone who had an album released?
If yes, then: 1.Carmen Electra (I tried to listen to her album again the other night. I couldn't do it. ) 2. Apollonia 3. Mayte 4. Vanity If they don't have to have an album then: 1. tie b/t Twinz and Brooks & Wally (none of 'em can sing or dance worth shit) 2. Carmen 3. Apollonia 4. Mayte 5. Vanity 6. Game Boyz 7. all the other back up dancers except Cat

Haha poor Taja Savelle gets forgotten about so much she doesn't get a vote for whether or not she can sing or not. "Why'd I waste my kisses on you baby?" R.I.P. Prince You've finally found your way back home. Well Done.

Definately Carmen Electra. She had no talent whatsoever and after she was gone from the Prince camp, she became a "Paris Hilton" type star.....famous for who she dated, married, or was associated with.....no real talent of her own. Andy is a four letter word.

Haha and this thread proves my point. I'm still the only one who has mentioned Taja. "Why'd I waste my kisses on you baby?" R.I.P. Prince You've finally found your way back home. Well Done.

Isn't it ironic and strange that Carmen actually became a "star" when she left the Prince camp? Most of his female proteges fade away after he stops working with them.Carmen has proven that there is life after Prince (lol),despite not being very talented at all.

Robin Power can never be mentioned as talentless, not with that body. Her dancing to Shake in Graffiti Bridge is a reason to put the darn movie on. Was she just too voluptuous to be out there like Cat was?

bingo! you hit the nail right on the head. She has no talent whatsoever. How much do you want to bet that she hooks up with another "rock star" type just to keep her name in the news.

Damn, TC takes it for me
But Ingrid is a close second - she was annoying. Beautiful, but annoying. Who the fuck wants to listen to Elephant Box??

I quite like her album, and would not consider her one of the "least talented" protege's by any means. I'm going to pull that cassette out right now to play in the car tomorrow. (Was her album ever available on CD?) Ask where they're going, they'll tell U – "Nowhere"
They've taken a lifetime lease on Paisley Park ...

Yall better quit saying Vanity.
I think Apollonia was the least talented protege, along with Carmen Electra.

I'm just glad someone mentioned Taja. I'm glad someone besides me remembered her. I thought most people thought she was so untalented they never even bring her up is mainly what I was saying. I listened to it last night and overall it was a pretty decent cd. "Wouldn't ya love to love me", and "Love is contagious" I believe are the Prince tracks. I think they sound pretty good. "Why'd I waste my kisses on you baby?" R.I.P. Prince You've finally found your way back home. Well Done.

I kinda like her too. Her first album (which WAS released on cd) is very poppy and sweet, but enjoyable in a way, heck, there was bigger crap in the charts those days. I even bought her second album, but it misses the cathchy tunes of the 1st one. She's no great talent, but can hold her own. Got a REAL forgotten one for ya though... anyone remeber DALE BOZZIO...

Get out of that box her cd is cool. And a collectable, btw! Kinda "lounge avant la lettre"! And yeah, let it be said... TC Ellis cd (also a collectable... ) IS worth the buy... just for fuckin' curiousity's sake. By far the worst album I EVER heard. Period.

No,the two Prince tracks are "Wouldn't You Love To Love Me" and "If I Could Get Your Attention" As far as I know,Prince didn't have anything to do with the other songs.
