Is there a best of THE TIME? I just received 'what time it is' this morning and i was thinking if all the best morris day/time songs were on one album it would we awesome.
oh BTW The time were brilliantly recorded; very good sound. Any compilations so i don;t have to buy all the indivdual compilations? | |

Unfortunately,there is no Time greatest hits CD  a few years ago,they did release a live Time album with four new tracks:
The Bird (live) Jungle Love (live) Gigolos Get Lonely Too (live) Cool (live) Ice Cream Castles (live) Get It Up/777-9311 (live) Girl (live) Fishnet (live) Ain't A Damn Thing Changed In My Ride Two Drink Minimum Last Night If you're thinking of buying this,proceed with caution.I was disappointed with it.I'd rather have an excellent compilation of all their hits,featuring the full-length album versions. | |

I have that album and I thought the live versions weren't bad at all. They were actually kinda tight. Too bad all the audience noise was removed. They would have been excellent if they were left as a live concert like how they were recorded. I made my own best of comp on a 90-minute cassette, but I used the 7" versions because I didn't want to make my albums obsolete by cannibalizing all the full-length versions. | |

My advice to any fan of the Time is to do what I did and make your own Time Greatest Hits. That new record to CD burner is a great thing. | |
