Ok! I know I am going to get beating over the head about this, and I do have the mani on my myspace friends list and I feel in my heart she seem like a good person!

I never met the woman before but I am happy and proud that she is helping kids and everything!

But question to all of u or to some of u, why is some people making a big deal about mani?? It seem to me that a few years ago there were some people talking about how mani got Prince and all and how she can't dress and all.

This is just my opinon! Please don't take this the wrong way, and I think she seem like a cool person but I just feel she is just like a regular person, I feel the only reason she is who she is, is because of Prince! Get my drift!!!

I agree 100% seems that La Mani, Mayte, the cat are more important thant Prince himself or the other musicians. Its an obsession with those 3 like there is nobody else in the world except them. How about the people who making real contribution to the music industry. I don't care if Mani went to the white House and cook for the president and so Mayte and the Cat.. with all my respect to all of you but is getting boring to go to the forums and find comments about Mani everywhere. Get it over peple SHE IS OUT OF PRINCE'S LIFE !!!!!

Moon, you have the right to your opinion and I wouldn't understand why an orger would beat you up over this.
I share the same feeling. I have met Mani and found her very nice and simple. While I could see some employees or band members acting like if they were important people, she was very natural.
I also admire the way she made her dream come true, moved to Minneapolis, worked at Paisley and got the man.
I was told she was in charge of the decoration inside the Chanhassen abode and Mayte didn't like it so she moved out. If that part is true, I didn't like it.
She is still very private and I appreciate the fact that she doesn't share gossiping, listens to rumors or shares her experience respecting Prince's privacy although they're going through divorce. She doesn't seem to be making scandals either. I do like her very much.
I'm happy you got to become friend with her.

There is different possibilites as of why people dispeak about her. The first one would be jealousy. Some people had the exact same dream and she came first. The second one, some fans would take Prince's stand no matter what. Now, that they are divorcing, they despise her even more. The third one being, she withdrew Prince from his music for a while and fans who wanted to hear more blamed her for that.... I could be here writting more but this is just my opinion.
