eek

Anyways...

Tony M- does well as a smooth rapper a la Goldnigga. His flow is off when he tries hard core gangsta stuff. He was cute though, so I didn't mind that much. lol

Prince- is very hit or miss as a rapper but excellent at spoken word type stuff such as Strange But True, The War and Dreamin' About U. He's cute too! nod

I have to agree with Metalorange in that I see it only as Prince adding another element to his music. Sometimes it worked out great...sometimes not so great.
Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.

I STRONGLY suggest you two quit while you're ahead (you both know who you are) any further flaming, then this thread goes straight into lockdown and you'll both be nursing temp bans as well as wounded egos.

Everyone's entitled to an opinion, there is no need to make it so personal.

So keep it friendly please folks.

What about Willing and Able. I thought the way Tony M flowed in with the rhythmn and beat of the song worked really well.

Tony's flow was not his problem. Dude had a flow and a pretty good voice for rap. I personally don't think 'willing & able' was one of his best examples but it showed versatility.

His style worked quite well on the GoldNigga cd though.

I agree and I thought he did a C.O.O.L job on the songs he Rap'd over. Especially "My Name Is Prince"... I friggin' Love that track...

cool

Agreed. For the most part,I think his raps worked better on the 'Love Symbol' CD.On 'D&P',the raps seemed forced and pasted on.
