Did Prince drop Tamar or vice versa? Check out this blog from Tamar's Myspace page:
This year has been a wonderful and overwhelming year. And with each day there is always news to be shared, heard, and explored. Many of you have been asking about the "Milk & Honey" album produced by my mentor and the genius PRINCE and co-written by me. Unfortunately, that album will not be released due to representation on all levels. I have started fresh and I would like to give you some sneak peaks for you to get a feel and an understanding of what Tamar has been up to lately. Please comment and give me your feedback as I embark on a very fun and eventful journey. Until then, remain Beautiful, Loved, and Blessed.....~Tamar Davis~

Prince dropped Tamar.
Then Universal dropped Tamar. Now Tamar makes bland, Beyonce-wannabee R&B tracks for a few hundred people to listen to on her Myspace page. | |

I believe the seperation between Prince and Tamar was mutual. I just read a post on Tamar on another Prince site, one of the member sent her message on myspace and she replied. In the reply she said that her and Prince are close if not closer than before. When i get home from work 2nite i will post her response.
There nothing more Prince can do for Tamar she has to go on by herself its the only way. Prince knows whats up, he may have initiated(sp?) the seperation but it was the right thing to do IMO Too bad we wont get Milk and Honey but thats the nature of the business | |

I think that the seperation came after Universal dropped her

Well I far prefer the music Prince was writing with her to this new music. I wish she could wrestle Milk and Honey out of Paisley Park.
