I would expect a house featured in House & Garden AND previously habitated by Prince would fetch a higher price than normal, so it's a win-win for Mani - more money for her if she/Prince chooses to sell it, and more publicity for her charity candles.

I think you can give her the benefit of the doubt upto now that she is doing everything not for fame but to publicise her new charity enterprise, but if in the future she does a tell-all interview or something like that we will know it is for personal glory and possibly for spite.

I mentioned in the very first thread(before the divorce info had been leaked) about Mani's business that it was a possible that they agreed to her getting her business off the ground before the divorce was final.

PurpleCharm said:

First, let me say congrats to Mani. clapping

I am a candle and home fragrance freak. If I run across her line of fragrances, I will definitely check them out.

With that being said, I am starting really think that Prince and Mani are no longer together. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like she is using Prince's name to get her own name out there. I mean, the first word in the title and in the article is Prince's name. If they really are separated, I wonder if they agreed to her getting her charity and business off the ground before the divorce. deal lol

For all we know, Prince may have approved the media being allowed into their home in Toronto. Perhaps Mani did sign a pre-nup and will not get the millions that some seem to think she will get. If that is the case, I don't see a problem with what she's doing...afterall, she will need a source of income after she is no longer Mrs. Prince Rogers Nelson.

I don't view Prince or Mani as victims in all of this. Things will work out for both of them.

Maybe this is a good time to remember that, according to press reports, the house has always belonged to Mani anyways...

"..., the couple has, according to Toronto's National Post, purchased a $3.5 million mansion in one of the city's richest neighborhoods. Prince's bride has a new home on the Bridle Path.

Land registry records uncovered by the newspaper indicate the sprawling, secluded home was bought by a company called Gamillah Holdings, whose president just happens to be Testolini."

Yes, but it's obvious the funding behind the company came from Prince, so realistically it's Prince buying the house.

in this tiny little moment, i wish there was some sort of divine intervention, or a single light of pure reason that could help people like this, people who favour the wealthy at the expense of honest public investors.

its very hard sometimes to stay loving and caring and compassionate toward such individuals, who truly do, indeed in more ways than u know, cause such damage to this world, to the minds of honest appreciators of a very simple thing: music.

and we sit here and watch all these little cheap games, hollywood names and their inflated sense of self-worth, moving in such deceptive ways, posing as charitable whilst sitting in homes that cost millions of dollars. driving around in convertibles with probably nought more than mindless tarts. and we r supposed to continue to take these people seriously.

that seems to be the sick twist to these kinds of situations. ultimately, people like this dont really care what we perceive because they are genetically self-serving takers, disguised as the holy saviours of humanity. such a subtle deception. my oh my what a stink is rising up into the heavens, a stink generated by two poor victims of excessive wealth and vanity, or r they really victims. lets just say they r uneducated, and remain that way through choice.

Prince and Manuela, the view from here is not pretty. Far from it, in fact it is probably the ugliest scene we have seen for a while, and in some poetic way, we can liken it to the war in Lebanon, after all, these farces are all caused by the same thing: ignorance of what Peace on Earth is really all about, and how to achieve it.

Perhaps the both of you would care to pick up a good book sometime, one that speaks of simple things, quiet things, truly valid things, just a page or two and you will be surprised at what you can learn about real life, and real people, thekind of people that post on this website for instance, who are here because of music, and yet we are given one charade after another, one more game after another. Exactly how much more of our money do you need?

Perhaps there are those willing to keep giving both of you everything they have, of their time and energy, and hard-earned dollars. They are the meek you see. People who undestand what it is to truly give, and whilst i personally do not believe extremem fanatacism is healthy, there is a simplicity to it that seems to escape your radar. Could that be because your narrow tunnel vision views of the world have not the scope with which to behold it.. we shall see.

As a membr of the general public and music appreciator, must say, am growing a little weary of the soap opera, on music's time. The feigned appreciation you have both displayed for God, or Jehovah as you put it, drips on the forehead, like chinese water torture. Clearly, God's true teachings interest neither of you in any kind of serious capacity. Thankfully there are many who understand this disability, just not sure how many will remain patient with it, including God Itself.

In another forum on this website, there is a discussion occurring about why 'orgers' generally speaking have not enjoyed the music in the past 10 years or so. The responses vary, but as a very insignificant person in the big scheme of things, might i suggest that perhaps God takes talent away from those who abuse the privelege of being given it in the first place. Perhaps He passes it on to others, who will make better use of it, as the entire globe flies at light speed toward a much brighter future, a far more honest future, a humble future, where all the things that have bound you to illusion after illusion, no longer exist.

With the respect for the music given, and with a comapssionate but not altogether patient understanding of the trials and tribulations of the self-inflicted 'rich and famous', one can only hope the both of you will see the Golden dawn, so often referred to by someone, who seems to have forgotten about it altogether, and that women, good women, simple women, humble women, learn from the mistakes being made apparent here, in marriage and genuine awareness for the true place they hold in the world.

Music lives 4 ever, no matter who channels it, and True Marriages last 4ever, no matter rich or poor. Am grateful to understand these things. May you also.

Oh, they'll both be ok. People just like finding dirt where there isn't any. Just because Mani's pushing her fragrance line around the divorce doesn't seem like anything bitter between them. You have to remember it was stated months ago that her fragrance line would come out around this time on her site. It's not like Prince didn't know she was going to promote it. Why not do it now, while regardless of their divorce, she still his last name attached hers, this way people will know who she is. It will get more publicity that way. It's obvious they both realized this was a good time to push her fragrance line..smart move.

This whole divorce does not seem like their enemies at all, especially since they have been separated for over a year. They both seem to be handling it well and keeping the records sealed was the best thing, because it's really none of our business why they divorced. At the end of the day Prince and Mani continue with their lives, because that is all they can do amidst all the criticism about her looks, his looks, who's messing with who and yada, yada, yada. Like any other celebrity couple divorcing,

I'm sure Prince expected all the ugly gossip from fans and other petty issues included, and he knows that people are going to gossip anyway, that's just the way the world is. That is what he stated in his song "Love", how do the words go? "Why worry about what the people say, aint' gonna stop them anyway" and that's the benefits of the freedom of speech, sometimes it's a good thing, sometimes it's not. But of course, he will do what he does best and ignore all all the gossip and continue to move on with his life, because after 25 years of being in the music industry, I'd say he's used to all the attention by now, just "the same old, same old sh**" to him, so what else is new?

Agreed. He obviously doesn't live in the house in Canada anymore and if history repeats, Mani will get the house.

your opinion is striking to me as when I read the article I wondered if the writer was cj using an alias. anyway, the company is named after a song that P wrote..I can't help but wonder how many have listened to it...as well as incense and candles..maybe it's just me but it appears that they did all of this together. Prince has always had a vision of helping others..it's really a gentle caring side of him that most do care to look at..and I say it the way that I do because he doesn't blow a horn over it..it's not how he makes his living. Whatever the intimate details of the Gamillah business are, I am thankful for both of them doing what they are to help others.

Reading this article, it seems to me that the gossip writer is just like CJ, the lady who writes about Prince in a negative way, Mani is promoting her products, which was already slated to come out this fall. Even the healine, seem so offensive. What is her problem. I wonder if she have problem because,, as she claimed Mani came from a modest family. All the magazines articles are for the new line of products that is coming out. The house belongs to both of them, has it even occured to the writer that Prince may have approved it. Because she filled for divorce, yet we do not know what goes on behind the scene. Now at least here is another Mani hater, I am sure some of you will agree with her.The divorce is not final yet, Let the writer wait and see.
It will be nice if some writers will be objective and not put their bias in their writing.

It sickens me to see Prince in these relatively short relationships and end up having to pay large settlements. It's obvious that he's not the marrying kind of dude. I wish he would stop getting married, having it end in a few years and paying another settlment. I hope Mani doesnt try to extend herself beyond being Prince's ex-wife the way Mayte has, just take your $$$ and shut up.
