she's moving on alright, but she sure likes to use the fact that she "is" married to Prince to get herself moving along & exposure. This article posted on July 19th uses Prince liberally, although she had already filed for divorce & it became public knowledge about 1 wk later. She only started using the last name Nelson, tagged on to Testolini, once she seperated from Prince, or else who would know who she is and who would care? But you can surely get you foot in the door a whole lot easier when you have connections in the life, as long as your conscience is good - than good !

We want Prince to go on tour and put out another record and we wandering why Mani is promoting the products she had work on for several months. I will not call that moving on. Divorce is not a bed of roses, and no one knows what she is going through.Regarding her talent or lack of it, you should vist her site and see the marvelous work she has been doing at such a young age. Remember, the divorce is not final yet, she is Mrs Nelson and she is still married to him , until the final degree. After that she can even maintain Nelson as her last name. if she wants and there is nothing any of you can do. Can we just wish both of them well, even though some of you dislike her. ,

i don't understand all the hastle that manuela finally got on with things. my guess is that articles had gone to print before the divorce was announced- an innocent mistake,imo. if 'nelson' is legally her last name now, why all the fuss that she uses it? there are plenty of divorced women who keep the married name.

If Mani is as involved as her site says she is ... then she's doing quite well. She's promoting the cause of saving the Earth as well as the people on it. Her cause for young women with self-esteem issues and children with disabilites (like autism) is quite commendable. She's more than a "book with a wonderful cover", she seems to have a true heart on the inside as well.

Could it be possible that she and Prince were just going in different directions and neither of them had the time to devote to their marriage because of their own dreams?

Like I said before on the HQ site. I wished that Prince and Mani would work out there differences and reconcile. Again we only here what the media puts out there and we don't know either of them, but from what it sounds like neither of them wants this divorce he is not fighting her in court, nor did he want the marriage to end this way and it was said by her attorney that it was a difficult decision for Mani to make so to me there is hope there. Personally I have gone through a divorce before and there was no hesitation, I didn't feel bad nor did I feel like I was making a mistake. I was right on the money. My point being she's still using his last name and by law you can do that. How ever if you are really trying to make a clean break from someone you are unhappy with you break away completely don't carry his last name make a fresh start make your own mark in the world. Change the name of the company because If I understand correctly Gamillah is the name of one of his songs. Prince influence in this new journey Mani has choose to take is all over the place it' really is not just Mani it is still Prince and Mani. If they really do read this site they need to work it out. I think the were a good couple again I've met them both, but don't know them. Really sad about the break up.

Mani is a person just like Prince is a human being and both need respect in their OWN right. If this is really what Mani is all about (helping children) I respect her and I think it's great that she realizes she has more to contribute to the world than just being seen on Prince's arm.

Why are we concern about her using her husband name? She can still use it even if the divorce goes through. and Mayte cannot use it because the marriage was annulled. Those who say they are glad she is gone, what good her going will do in your life? Rememeber the divorce is not final yet. Doesn't look like she's moving on to me. You don't ever see her name without Prince's. And she doesn't come off as very altruistic, considering those files contain nothing but pictures of Mani getting her makeup done.
