What Happened to APOLLONIA WHAT happened to Apollonia from purple rain... sometimes i see her on VH1 talking when they have the "I LOVE THE 80'S" and she was on E true hollywood story for Carmen electra...
does she have a job, or did she get married... what did that woman do... |

I was watching this programe called 'Down in The Valley or some shit like that last night and there was a transexual pornstar called Vanity. He used to be called Patrick Cotero which all in all reminded me of Apples. The Hottest chip of them all - www.hotchip.co.uk - Get down with Prince

I hope this information helps you on her.   She left the purple rain camp once the film was done and to accept a role on television's nighttime program Falcon Crest in 1985. She released a solo albumn independent of Prince's help in 1988 and she also married that year to a soap opera star I think from General Hospital. However that marriage ended in divorce in 1996 and Apollonia has done some B-MOVIES I think one title is called Black Magic Woman. Apollonia was out of the limelight for a while due to her marriage and the fact that she had returned to school to earn her BA. Degree in filmmaking.I think she and Carmen Electra are neighbors in a housing or condo complex.Apollonia made an appearance at the family jamm 2003 along with Sheila E.,Susannah Melvoin, and other Prince associates.  It is said that  Apollonia can often be seen these days at film premieres on the west coast. | |

I always wanted to know what she was doing... but i wonder why she didnt have kids... and why did she leave the purple rain camp... what did prince do to her... i dont know why but when i first saw the original girl vanity i didnt like her because she looked mean... but in the movie purple rain... Apollonia look so playful and cute... and sweet... |

It has been said that alot of Prince associates leave his employ supposedly due to creative differences.  
Apollonia-It has been said that apollonia felt that there wasnot much of a future or respectability performing in lingere,and of course with the success of purple rain i'm sure many many other avenues such as acting jobs,etc. opened up that she could try.Apollonia got married for a second timebut I donot know why and her former hubby didnot have kids | |
