Just an interesting tidbit:

I don't give a hoot cahoot what her marital status is*, her work to make a better world deserves praise. i've always been impressed that Love4oneanother (to the extent that it existed) was about empowerment rather than handing out scraps (food drives are better than giving out money too, in this case).

(*BTW, it's also interesting that the sites underplay the P connection, altho the bio on Gamillah mentions "married to Prince Rogers Nelson")

Some of you people on here are unbelievably negative. It's really sad. I don't know what this has to do with Mayte either. Prince has obviously moved past the big butt and a smile phase of his life. Life is a succession of steps toward personal evolution and revelation. The same people who want Prince back with Mayte are probably the same ones who want to see him running around pumping on beds and singing Head at 48.

At least Mani has a brain and an education. She should be applauded for trying to do more than jump around in videos shaking her butt. I respect anyone who tries to affect the world in a positive manner.

I don't give a shiznit if she has children or not. I stated that in MY opinion, one should practice what they preach. I have a right to my thoughts and opinions as Mrs Nelson has at what organizations to support. I just don't have any respect for woman who sell themself (or their product) using other people and especially children. Manuella used Prince and now she's using his fans. Prince fans ARE her target, whether she is still with him or not. Outside of the Prince world, Mani don't exist. And, frankly, nobody here (excluding sheep, and the fanatics) .. I keep out the word "Fan" because the "average" fan don't even know who she is, would even care about what she is doing if it were not for her being "Mani".

You people will buy just about anything Prince and Mani sell you, from their word to products. I wonder why she don't HELP or donate to childrens hospitals or cancer treatment for children? Maybe it's because treatment requires blood transfusion and according to the JW religion, she can't support such cause. Thats if she is even still a JW.

Mani, if she is doing this from her heart and not her business mind, I give her props. More power to her. But, I still have my opinion.
That woman lost her creditability when she was eyeing a married man who was the husband of a still in mourning woman, who lost her child.

First, let me say congrats to Mani.

I am a candle and home fragrance freak. If I run across her line of fragrances, I will definitely check them out.

With that being said, I am starting really think that Prince and Mani are no longer together. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like she is using Prince's name to get her own name out there. I mean, the first word in the title and in the article is Prince's name. If they really are separated, I wonder if they agreed to her getting her charity and business off the ground before the divorce.

I'm usually deeply opposed to thread locking, but I wish someone would please lock this right now!!

What started as a simple information giving post has devolved into a name calling, hostile environment--much like every other thread lately.

Now I don't give 1/2 care about Mani, but damn the woman can do no right in the eyes of a lot of folks here. OK if you don't like her, but do you have to post your vile spitting hatred on every thread that mentions her?

I've been in a few verbal battles on the org myself and I actually enjoy the sparring from time to time, but the vibe around here has turned sour and the negativity is out of control.

I'm finding less and less joy here everytime I log on.

I get a bad taste in my mouth when people ask you (advertise) to buy their products, and they will donate some of the money to certain organizations or charity, their own at that! (especially if they are rich).

Maybe it's just the simple fact that I don't like this woman. She looks sneaky and from where and how she got to Prince, she can't be trusted. But thats my opinion and I have a right to it.

Education or no education, I have more respect for Mayte. She persued her dream; to be a dancer. Prince tried making her a singer. But at least she had a dream before she even met Prince.

Mani on the other hand? Prince WAS her dream! Trying to be socially acceptable in the world of "Hollywood" is nothing to be proud of! You don't need an education to do that

maybe Prince has matured enough where he wants a woman with his level of maturity and intelligence . Mani really makes a great wife for Prince...she's beautiful, cerebral and down to earth. She's probably taught Prince alot...
