Better Prince rhythm guitarist: Levi Seacer Jr. or Mike Scott

I've been listening to "SexyMF" "Love 2 The 9's" and P's music from '91 and '92, and i'm looking at clips of Mike Scott on Rave Un2 The Year 2000 and Septimo and i think, Levi Seacer has better palying as far improvising, rhythm, and style, but Mike is better at soloing. What y'all think?

I always thought Levi held the groove better. But both would smoke me onstage, so... shrug

Levi without a doubt. Bass players tend to have better rhythmic timing than guitarists. Levi would smoke Miko on rhtyhm AND lead.

Neither.

Miko on the Lovesexy Tour. The stuff he and P played on the Nude Tour version of 1999 was great. (IMO)

I liked Levi better as a bass player. I think Mike Scott is a better solo guitarist and can hold the grooves just as well as Levi.

People are confusing Mike and Miko.

The thread author is referencing Mike Scott:

No, I'm not confused, I meant Miko Weaver (sometimes spelled Mico). And if I may speak for Giovanni777 & Carlcranshaw, I don't think they're confused either.

and Giovanni777 co-signed. And I agree with them: I think Miko was a better rhythm guitarist than Mike Scott or Levi Seacer, Jr.

That's right. No confusion here.

Miko Weaver was better than Levi and Mike Scott. Levi was better suited as bassist on the Sign Of The Times and Lovesexy Tour. (IMO)
