The Time - Dance to the beat. Who's hip to it?

There is a nice little clip of them doing this song with Prince on YouTube. To me it sounds like what eventually because Prince's "Play In The Sunshine". Who else is hip to the song?

It sounds much more Princ... the Time.

It looks like another classic clip from the good days. I like the song and clip. Release this joint from the vault, please?

Has anyone heard a studio version of this? It's not a typical The Time "dance" song.P had funny ideas of what was a dance song.Maybe,it was for the first album kinda' like "after high school".Perhaps it was much mo' funky than it seemed on the clip.

This song is real similar to Jack U Off or Horny Toad - has that rockabilly Elvis type of vibe...

It was something for them to play in concert when they had an expanded setlist. I don't think there is a studio version. Its OK, but nothing special

For real. P did that shit with Dez ALL THE TIME on the Controversy tour. As far as the song, I have a horrible cassette of this show. Had it for years. Never really dug this song. Asked Morris about it and yeah, it was intended for The Time's SECOND album. I'm glad he took it off.
SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."
nammie "What BGZ says I believe. I have the biggest crush on him."
